About You(th) Decide

Youth Decide is a Jean Monnet Learning EU Initiative that uses participatory budgeting as a way to address low youth participation on local and European level. The primary target group of this exercise are students that want to impact their local communities with their own ideas and projects, as well as teachers that seek to encourage students in active citizenship and community organization activities.

Using the website and teaching materials, teachers can organize a participatory budgeting exercise for students to participate in. Students can publish their projects independently on the website and promote them within their local and broader community.

This project was carried out by SIC Ljubljana teachers, between 2022 and 2025.
